This was consolidated with the Banks Environmental data (forwarded July 2012) in October 2026. The dataset supports municipal water utility planning, environmental impact reviews, and cross-referencing private or public well locations relative to municipal service areas.Maintenance & Update Frequency: Periodic / As Needed (Updated following major TWDB database releases)Process Step (Lineage Description):Data Download: The statewide groundwater well dataset was obtained directly from the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) Groundwater Database Reports portal (https://www.twdb.texas.gov/groundwater/data/gwdbrpt.asp) during the 2025 update cycle.Spatial Clipping / Filtering: Features were filtered or clipped to the municipal boundary and surrounding regional buffer area.Consolidation: The clipped 2025 TWDB dataset was consolidated with DBO.Waterwells, which included 2012 data from both TWDB and Banks Environmental Data.Schema Mapping & Import: Attributes (Source ID, State Well Number, Site Address, Owner, Well Depth, Water Use, Aquifer) were mapped and loaded into the local enterprise geodatabase (DBO.GroundWaterwells_2026).
